Un Espaitec's is a series of audio or video recordings broadcast on the Internet, generally in the form of episodes regular, to which users can subscribe et listen on demand.
The podcasts cover a wide range of topics, ranging from news, culture, and technology, to personal stories, career training, and entertainment. They are often produced by independent creators, companies, media or institutions, and can be listened to via dedicated platforms such as Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Google Podcasts, or directly on websites.
The term “podcast” is a portmanteau combining “iPod” (Apple’s MP3 player, very popular at the time) and “Broadcast” (broadcast). Podcasts emerged in the early 2000s, quickly gaining popularity thanks to the increasing accessibility of the Internet and the widespread use of mobile devices. Over the years, the format has diversified, and podcasts have become a key communications medium, valued for its flexibility and ability to reach a targeted audience in an engaging manner.
