Definition: An advertising coupling is an agreement linking several press titles or media that offer in common, and with a single price, their advertising spaces or classified ads. This process has the merit of increasing the audience offered and simplifying negotiations for advertisers. It promotes media which, isolated, would have difficulty attracting advertising or classified ads. The coupling can be internal to a medium or to a group.
