Definition: In computing, a link is made up of a source and a destination. The activation of this link by a click makes it possible to pass automatically from one to the other, whether it is to move on the same page or on a different web page. The links are visualized on the screen by a highlighting system and a simple click with the mouse is enough to activate them. Their relevance and density are one of the criteria for evaluating scoring in the context of referencing on search engines.
