Definition: In a communication campaign, the media strategy corresponds to the choice made between the different media to disseminate its message. It is based on an analysis of communication objectives, taking into account the available media and their ability or not to reach the target. Specialized agencies most often carry out, with the help of their media planner, in particular, an assessment of the different possible combinations of communication between a main medium, called base medium, and complementary media.
