Definition: Multiplexing is a technique that combines signals to pass them on a single digital broadcast channel. This allows the same resource to be shared between several users and also allows simultaneous broadcasting. One of the applications of this technique is to allow the simultaneous participation of several people geographically distant from each other in a television or radio program.
