Definition: Representative sample of a population interviewed regularly. The panel can be “constant” if its members are never changed, which makes it possible to observe changes in their opinions, opinions or behavior. The panel is "slippery" if its members are periodically renewed regularly, thus avoiding the creation of habit. Panels are used during opinion polls, the responses of a small panel will be extended and associated with a larger population, to reflect a national opinion for example.
