Definition: Site-centric (site side) is a method of measuring website traffic based on the logging of connections thanks to the analysis of log files: installation of cookies on the hard drive of the connected computer or insertion of tags in the pages of the site. This technique makes it possible to count the number of visits and the number of pages viewed per connected workstation (and not per connected individual). Example: Xiti is a site-centric measurement tool.
