La Virtual Reality ( Virtual reality in French), abbreviated as VR, designates a immersive technology that simulates a fully digital three-dimensional (3D) environment in which users can interact realistically.
Using devices such as VR headsets, haptic gloves or controllers, users are immersed in a virtual world where their physical actions are translated into movements in the digital environment. VR is used in a variety of fields, including video games, education, job training, marketing, and medicine.
The fundamental difference between VR (Virtual Reality) and AR (Augmented Reality) lies in the way in which they interact with the real world. VR creates a fully immersive and virtual environment, cutting the user off from their physical surroundings. In contrast, AR superimposes digital elements on the real world.
