Definition: Computer tools (software and hardware) allowing the production of documents ready to be printed. DTP is based on the use of a computer and specialized software (layout, image editing, etc.) linked to specific resources (image banks for example). Changes to the document are made directly on the computer. The printed version will be the faithful reproduction of the electronic version.
